Orders that include aluminium profiles may take up to 5 business days to ship, particularly in the case of custom size cuts.

Orders for machine kits will typically take 1 to 2 weeks.

Stock constraints and periods with a high volume of business may increase the time we take to ship:

  • If a specific product has a stock constraint, you should expect a warning about this on its product page, with an indication of the expected lead time.


  • If we are going through a very busy period and are experiencing some delay, there should be a warning about this on the "View all" page, underneath your shopping list.


  • If there's an unexpected delay, you should expect to be contacted by us directly, either via e-mail or telephone.

    *For most small to medium size orders to European destinations.

    We ship almost all orders via DHL Express, which has a reference delivery time of 1 business day for Europe, and 2 to 3 business days for the rest of the world.

    Large orders to continental Europe destinations ship via DHL Economy, which has a reference delivery time of 3 to 7 business days, depending on the specific destination.

    In very exceptional situations, we may ship via alternative couriers, like DPD or DB Schenker.

    All the times mentioned above are references, not contractual commitments (unexpected delays may still happen sometimes, and the courier will not be liable if they do).

    NOTE: if you're in a hurry, we can ship via DHL Express regardless of any other factors, as long as you're willing to pay the extra cost. Just contact us to ask for a quote.

     
       Ships from the Eu

    Our headquarters is in the south of Portugal, which means that if you’re ordering from within the EU, you’re in luck when it comes to shipping costs and delivery times - and best of all, you will have no customs hassle.

     
       Shipping information

    Multiple box shipments: boxes often get separated in transit and end up being delivered at different times. Box separation is not an issue as long as you can see all the boxes on your tracking information.

    Deliveries outside the European Union: your order may go through customs and you may be charged a customs clearance fee and import duties, in accordance with the laws in your country. These charges are unrelated to us, but they will be billed to you via the shipper. We recommend that you look into your country's importation rules before ordering to avoid any unexpected charges. All shipping quotes on our website include delivery to the customer's door, but exclude any importation costs on the customer's end.

     
       Shipping warranty

    Your shipment is insured against transport damages, missing items and package loss, but please be aware that you have a limited time window of 10 days after delivery to report issues, before your insurance expires!

  • Inspect: inspect your boxes as you receive them and photograph any signs of damage/patching before opening them.


  • Report to the courier: if you find signs of damage when the order is being delivered, ask the courier to make a note about this on the proof of delivery.


  • Complain to Rat Rig: do not open a complaint with the courier, simply contact us directly and immediately at sales@ratrig.com and we will take care of everything. Take pictures of all boxes before unpacking, and then take pictures of any damages you find in your components.


  • Signature Release: please be aware that if you choose the "Signature Release" delivery option, you are releasing both Rat Rig and DHL of any responsibility if your packages get stolen.
