No more sourcing superflat plates and drilling them at home! We've done it for you. Finally a 6mm pre-machined custom cast plate at a great price.
These were custom made for the V-Core 3, but versatile enough to be used on a number of different printers. With that in mind, we set out to design a pre-machined cast tooling plate that would have great flatness at a great price. There are many cast plates out there, but very few are nicely pre-machined with countersunk mounting holes, chamfering etc.
Specs:
- Material: Cast Aluminium AL5083 6mm thick
- Surface Machining: Milled surface for final flatness
- Available in 329mm*329mm*6mm, 429mm*429mm*6mm, 529mm*529mm*6mm sizes
- Countersinks for M5 Countersink screws (ie. DIN7991)
- 6x Mount holes for compatibility with both standard 4 screw mount printers(V-Cast), and 3 screw mount printers(ie. V-Core 3 kinematic mount)
- Extra accessory holes for bed grounding, thermal fuse etc.
Our custom Keenovo heatpads are designed specifically for these plates, with the wiring bundle placed slightly off center, ideal for 3 point kinematic setups. Find those in our store.
